Agreement

By signing this form, parent gives permission for their child (student) to participate in the pom tryout clinic. Parent is aware that the athletic nature of this activity could lead to injury, and will not hold the school or those in charge responsible. Parent accepts that student may demonstrate advanced dance ability, which will result in being placed on an older team. Placement is determined by the coaches and coordinator. If parent does not wish for student to be on Varsity as a freshman, they must advise the Pom Coordinator before tryouts. Both parent and student have read the Jenks Pom Contract and Jenks Pom Booster Club Bylaws, and agree to abide by the rules and guidelines of each. The cost of Pom per year can range from $3,500 to $5,500, and $2,000.00 will be required by November 1st to be eligible to attend Nationals. If you are a new member of an older squad, there may be an additional expense to purchase items that are owned by the dancers.
